For the community service initiative, we are required to renovate and design a classroom for the students of the Rumah Insaniah Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah for the disabled. During the first week, we were asked to go to the location and we were briefed there on site about our task, during the briefing, we were split into 5 groups. I was placed into group 2, which is responsible for the items of furniture in the classroom. We were then to asked to propose our group idea the following week. Our group decided to fix the tables by removing the top and replacing it with plywood and laminate the body of the table. As most of the chairs were badly damaged, we decided to get new chairs, we also replaced the old cabinet with a new one as that too is badly damaged. We tried to minimize the budget used by repairing what was repairable and replacing those that were unfixable. The proposal idea was accepted and we started the work the following week. Firstly, we went to the site to remove all the table tops for it to be replaced with the new plywood top, we then removed all the broken chairs and cabinet to make space for the new furnitures. Most of the new furnitures were bought from Ikea as it is convenient and has all the item we needed. 

After all the furnitures were bought, we met up to install the furnitures. First, we moved all the furnitures outside, we then started off with installing the plywood top onto the tables. we then laminated the body of the table to give a fresh new feeling to it. We then continue to paint the door as it looks run down. With that done, we started on the chairs, 10 chairs were bought, and we installed them together, The installing of the chair was very quick as it was pretty easy. After the chairs are done we started on the cabinet, the cabinet was more difficult to install because of it's size, but nonetheless, we managed to install it together. We decided to get another smaller cabinet for the teacher, we also managed to install new curtains for the classroom, the curtain was provided by one of the group members. With everything installed, we cleaned the teacher's table and started moving everything in the classroom and arrange it accordingly, that concludes our group's task.

From this task, I have learned a lot of important things like how teamwork between group members is important for successfully completing a given task, also learn how to contribute to the society especially to the less fortunate. I am extremely grateful for my groupmates for this task as they have helped me a lot and given me a lot of advice. This module has taught me a lot and it has certainly given me the chance to learn, contribute to the society, and make new friends, attached below are the photos of the progress of this task, with this I conclude my post.
